Only because bodily harm was threatened if I didn't post this.
I'm only posting this because some half pint was getting on my case about it [just kidding, Lauren...sorta ;) ].

...we test the run tomorrow morning. There is a very strong possibility this isn't going to go over very well. But after that super fantastical fun run...we get to swim. And Sunday brings my first outdoor ride of the season...in my new pedals...on hills. Lots and lots of stupidly steep hills. Let's guess how many times I'm going to fall while riding. Love it!
Wow, were you really on the bathroom floor???
Ken...I most certainly was. And it wasn't pretty. I ended up having a "come to Jesus" talk with myself along the lines of "if you don't pick yourself up off the floor, nobody is going to..." and from there on out it was all about baby steps and making checklists.
OH my gosh- I was actually reading this article in bed one night, and my husband (Kansas native goes by Big Cheese) walks in, looks at the article, and immediately says, "You know who that is, right? It's running Jayhawk!" And sure enough, it was you!!!
How super awesome - both the article and the Arizona finish - I haven't been around the blogs all that much lately, so it looks like I missed a ton of your training, but I look forward to going back and reading about your journey!!
Congrats again!
