An Update...Prizes and Brackets...Oh My!!

In case you haven't noticed, we've added a good chunk of new donors to our prize list below. And according to our calculations...assuming each donor honors their word...the first place winner will be walking away with a prize pack that retails a little over $350. Second and third brackets score around $150-250. AND...because of their generosity...we'll be able to extend prizes to our fourth and fifth place brackets.

We're pretty psyched!

Getting the mail everyday is like going on a new adventure...which packages will arrive today?! What products did they donate?! And time and time again, we've been blown away. The folks over at Runervals have pretty much donated their entire collection of DVDs. And Elyten? They sent us $100 in product and branded gear. And the training books from Transition Times look great...and then of course, we've got our winners set up with a free medal engraving from our friends at MedalEngraving.com.

We also have our bracket manager up and running here at CBS SportsLine. Once you've donated I'll send you the invitation to join. [Side Note to Donor Chris S...we need your correct e-mail address, be a doll and email me or Mike!! Thanks!]

We've got a little over one week to go on our quest for participants! Remember, it's $10 for 1 bracket and 3 for $25. You can make your donation here. If you win something, we can pretty much guarantee you'll be making a good chunk, if not all of your money back!

If you have any questions, just let us know! We look forward to having you join us!

ORN: Lost a little over a week of training due to a pretty nasty round of the flu...but was able to run a nice, easy 4 miler on Saturday. I've decided that the one good thing about having the flu is the ability to drop weight in a snap. Hah. We've broken the 100 day countdown for the Kansas 70.3. Eek!

Isn't it great to get good things in the mail? I'm in for a bracket, even though I know nothing about this year's teams.

Hey Barb... nothing to do with your post, but remember back when you posted a bit about those injinji socks... are they really good? If I run anything over 10 mi, I get blisters between my 3rd & 2nd toes - doesn't matter how much bodyglide I use. I need some help!! ;) I'm just worried the injinji socks might give me blisters between the other toes??

Hope you're doing well!

Got your invitation email - thanks! Guess I'd better start paying attention now. Texas has that nasty Kansas team on the other side of the Big 12 bracket, assuming we survive to the end (BIG ass-umption!).
