Stronger.

Work it harder.
Make it better.
Do it faster.
Makes us stronger.
More than ever.
Never over.
Our work here is never over.
-my new running mantra, thanks Kanye.

Mhmmm...

4.5 miles...
.
.
.
.
.
...10:13 pace.

Where.the.hell.did.that.come.from?

Perhaps it was the beautiful 50-degree weather? Or my fancy new brooks running shorts and shoes my dad bought in last month?

Hmm...wait...no...that's not it...

It came from me and my strong legs....and my sweet ass that has dropped 10 pounds. And all the hard work that I've been putting in over the past three months.

That's right. Today called for an "easy 10k pace" ...so I left my Garmin at home, and just listened to my body...and THAT'S what it gave me in return. I can't help but imagine what would've happened if I had actually pushed myself...

Oh the possibilities!

And in other news...
Today's mail adventure came electronically...a message from John Bingham about donating his collection of books...and the fabulous folks at CX-W are donating some gift cards. I just wanted to say thanks to everyone who's donated to participate in our fabulous lil' fundraiser!! Mike and I are definitely amped at the response so far! We have a few more days, so if you haven't gotten in on the action yet, you've still got time!!

Nice Run! Yes I was going to say the work pays off. The beauty of Multisport in my mind is the ability to do more hours or training and avoid the grind and pounding of lots and lots of miles. 10 lbs! Good on you!

I have learned avery once-in-a-while to leave the watch and plan at home and head out. I am usually suprised by the outcome and I think it brings back a little faith in myself...versus the training, or the routine :) Nice work!

Nice job! Hmm, not sure I see Kanye in the role of master motivator but it is a catchy diddy.

Have you listened to the Daft Punk song that the Kanye song is based on? It's also a great pump-you-up song.
