I'm too excited to come up with a clever title to this post.

How can people expect me to concentrate at work on a day like today? Let's face it. I'm going to be a crazy, hyperactive, useless body...

...because...

(and I've totally been holding out on you guys because Dice's news was far superior than mine...but still...)

I'M GOING TO THE OPENING ROUND KANSAS GAME TODAY AGAINST NIAGARA!!!

We've got awesome seats, first row of the club level and I couldn't be more excited! I'm leaving work early and meeting up with Christy and Ryan to check out the Kansas Pep Rally at the Hancock before heading over to United Center. I'll be sure to take lots of fun pictures and report back later. Until then...I've got the mentality of a small child the night before Christmas eve...you know, how you obsessively look at the clock in anticipation and it's like the time never arrives...the too excited to sleep jitters.

ROCK CHALK JAYHAWK, GO KU!!

Mike is out of town this weekend, and I'm seriously sad...and bummed...and will miss him greatly. And while I know I'll enjoy the game, it's just not going to be the same without him. Up until this past Sunday we had watched every single game this season together. :(

In closing, I'd like to share with you this little prayer that several of my friends have sent me the past few days...
