A chilly morning for a run...
...my lungs stung.
...my inner ears pounded.
...I nearly coughed up a lung.
But I did it.
And it was totally phlegm-a-licious. (A whole heckuvalotta hackin' goin' on...fun times!)
It wasn't anything crazy....just a nice and easy 3.8(ish) miler through my parent's neighborhood...which is amazingly hilly for Kansas. I ended up being a wuss and walking up the majority of the hills, but whatever. I'm looking forward to being back out on the nice, flat, soft, cinder running path in Chicago. Cause well...we've got a marathon in less than four months...this should be interesting...
But nevertheless...
Welcome back, Barb...welcome back.
Peace, yo.

PS...anyone in Chicago belong to any of the city YMCA's? Let me know! I have some questions...

Welcome back, Barb!
I think phlegm-a-licious is my new word of the day. I plan to use it around the office as much as possible this morning.
I'll be looking for you out on the running path. 2007 is going to be a great year for all of us.
Good luck training for the CMM!
welcome back, Barb! Way to go!

Phlegm...ick!
But nice job on the run. Can not wait to see you and Mike in TWO DAYS!! Whooohoo!
Welcome back!! Can't wait to hear about your training!
Happy running, Jayhawk!!
Hey, how was the massage?
Way to brave the cold!
:-)
Phlegmtastic, man!
(I used to listen to smooth jazz as a kid, antisocial but friendly weirdo preteen that I was. There was a band called Flim and the BB's, but I always thought it was Phlegm and the BB's. Earwax problemo.)
welcome back to chi-town :-) i walked much of the flat run I had today. Jason and I used to belong to the Lakeview YMCA and it was pretty cheap (~$60 for both) they have a nice weight room which is not filled with all the "beautiful" people that you'll find in a bally'sesc place. More normal folks hanging out there. we quit only cause we weren't using it enough and now don't live in the neighborhood.
Welcome back!
Good job on running in the cold! You people in the northland are truly troopers for running in that weather!!
