PSA: Chicago Marathon.
Okay runners...especially you runners who procrastinate.
The Chicago Marathon registration time frame is dwindling. Rather quickly. There are less than 10,000 spots of the 40,000 left. They're anticipating registration to close within the next week or so, quite possibly less. So what are you waiting for? Go REGISTER. Now. You know you want to. Don't deny yourself the opportunity to run in one of the best marathons out there. I still have the promotional DVD if you'd like a copy to watch...it has the race course on there, too. Let me know if you'd like me to send one to you.
RBFers Running Chicago Marathon: Running Jayhawk (that's me...Barbara), Out of Shape Guy (Mike), Running Rabbit (Sue), Running to Change (Nicole), Tara, Marathon Running (Leah & Jason), Run With Me (Elizabeth), and Dice's Running Shoes (Josh).
I know I'm missing a ton of folks...so, tell me, phantom lurkers out there...do you need to be added to the list? I'm sensing a fabulous RBF meet up that weekend. :) Perhaps a post-race meal at Giordanos?

Destination Chicago will be there, me (Bob) the head blog meister and my sidekicks, Amy(wife), Cary & Robert and Paul and Katie. Everyone is signed up but no one is ready. :)
This is going to be a great (!) race. We should try and have a meet up of local chicago runner folks sometime soon!
That is awesome! So many hip people running it ... and you crack me up! But why isn't the message also brought us by the letter 'W'?
I registered a while ago. Chose it over Detroit this year, and I am hoping to meet up with a few RBFers afterwards.
I registered for Chicago a few weeks ago and I can't wait for the big race. Now, if I can only get my sister-who plans to run it also-to heed the warnings that it is soon going to be full. Can't wait to visit your wondeful city! I am sure it will be every bit as fun as I have heard!

I just got an email that said the race would close today!
I got that email yesterday too about the race closing! What a great post...to hook us up with all the RBFers for Chicago! And YES!!! We should all try to get together before the race!
I got my preferred start confirmation in the mail a few weeks ago! Yahoo!
I think Chicago will have to wait a year for me. You could join me in Orlando in January for Disney, if you want.
