Who is smarter? TiVo or its owner?
So for Mike's birthday (which isn't until Saturday), I got him TiVo. You know, the super duper rockstar "I can burn your programs directly onto a DVD" TiVo. The kind that, apparently, is far more intelligent than the combined IQ of a straight-A journalism student and a pre-med individual studying chiropractics. Apparently this magical little box is smarter than it's two owners brains combined (though it's coming from us, so seriously...how much brainpower is there?)...
So yah...it's well past midnight.
Mike is on tech support with TiVo.
I'm exhausted...
"Just one more minute honey..."
...that was 23 minutes ago.
Pshaaaa....Men and their toys.
Happy Birthday, baby. Even though you cheated and saw what you were getting in my e-mail...and even though the doorman spoiled the surprise and gave you the box when it was addressed to me.
Clearly, TiVo wants to sleep. And so do I. So goodnight.

I love Tivo. Once it is together you will be so happy because I swear it is the greatest invention ever.
I can't help you techically because that is my man's department but what a great device.
Anyway, thanks for the post! We should defintely meet up because we do sound a lot alike.

My hubby is TERRIBLE at peaking at presents! During Christmas he is impossible! I am also technically challenged. I can't hook up the TV, VCR and DVD to all work at the same time. A Tivo would definitely exceed my technological capacity!

Eeek, electronic gadgets are scary. They're so great when they work though... that's why someone else has to put them together...
