New Running Gear.
Tonight Mike and I bought some new running gear. 99% of which was for him. He hit up the Sport Authority and bought a bunch of fun wicking shirts and shorts....went to pay and then won a $75 gift card! He rocks...so he went and bought himself some more gard. Now he's a serious runner. I'm so excited! He's going to start running...WOO! I have a running buddy...and it's my best friend! I just had to share how much I'm looking forward to a run with him tomorrow.So yes, after he bought his clothes and socks this afternoon, we hit up Fleet Feet this evening. I walked away with a new Nalgene bottle to take to work and we both picked up a ru
nning bottle, too. It's cool...made by Nathan Sports and there's a fun little zip pouch for keys/gels/etc. I'm excited to lose the bulkiness of my obnoxious Nike Fuel belt. So we got some fun water bottles and then Mike picked up a new pair of running shoes....before we know it, he'll have a running blog.Now Mike is getting embarassed...so I'm going to end this post. But I'm just so excited and proud of my baby, I had to share!!! :)

YEAH!! That is so awesome - and it has to be a good sign that he won $75!
I love running with Brent - it's made such a huge difference!! It's fun to be a running couple and it's just one more thing to have in common together. (Except it does suck sometimes not to have him there taking pictures, etc when we both race!) It's also a lot easier to stick with training plans when you're both committed to getting out there in the crappy weather.
